
Description: Millennia of tending has produced trees as ancient as the Forerunner structures they have grown around.
Guardian is a jungle version remake of Lockout and has the same fighting atmosphere to match. It is comprised of multiple hallways on 3 levels leading to a center platform where much of the interaction takes place.
The tree base at point 1 is comprised of 3 levels. The top most level is just a single platform jutting out from the side of the tree that overlooks the main center area. The middle level is mainly just a walk through between the lower base and the center platform. The lowest level is a walkway under the level across to the other side to the main building where the gravity lift is located.
The forest area is a small grass space with rocks for cover connected to the main platform by a walkway and the main building by a mancannon.
The main building is comprised of two levels connected by a gravity lift and two drop down spaces on either sides of the lift. Both levels of the main and secondary buildings are connected; the lower level by a walkway and the upper level by a jump way. Located in the secondary building is a maincannon over to the tree base which effectively interconnects the level in a circle.

* Defense (When you hold the ball)
- When starting off, you should secure the over shield before you move in to grab the ball. When you have secured the Overshield, send two people(unless it is on doubles, then send one) to get the Ball.
- Once you get the ball you should let the ball carrier grab the overshield for maximum protection. Once your ball carrier gets the overshield, move as a group. The best place to keep the ball is green room, but not in the hallway leading to shotgun spawn. You should rather stay in the room where all the paths connect that way you can see what is coming.
- Remember to not bunch up, it gives your oponents easy kills.
- Remember to grab the shotgun, BRs, and sniper, with these it will make it harder to kill you for you will have all the power weapon and BRs(but usually you start with BRs).
* Offense (Opponent has the ball)
- Have two people at Overshield spawn (one on top and one on bottomn, for doubles have one person on top overshield spawn).
- The other two people should then secure the shotgun and the Brute Shot and try to flank the ball carrier by having the two people at overshield keep you informed on where the enemy is.
- Once you have flanked them, use cover and take them out from behind. If the carrier gets away, dont try to engage him up-close for the ball is insta-kill; try and take him out while you are out of range. If he is persistant on evading you, have one person grsb the overshield and move to Camo
- Once one person is invisible, send him and two other people; have the sniper stay behind. Have the two non-invis people draw the enemy fire, for they have probably regrouped. Have the invis person take out the ball carrier from behind and have him grab the ball; once he has it he should tell everyone to go to Oversheild spawn, then follow the defense guide.

Elbow
- Start running towards S2 where the over-shield spawns, but instead of taking it jump down to the hallway leading to bottom mid, then from bottom mid after taking the mauler get to green and take the man-cannon over to invis. Now remember that Invis and overshield spawn every 3 minutes so it is essential to base your strategy around that.
- Once you have invis you will most likely see the enemy with a shotgun in gold, as the best tactic there is to get shotgun and then invis, use your invis and mauler and take him out, swapping the mauler for the shotgun as that is more powerful.
- Your next move will be to take the man-cannon to S3 with your shotgun ready, if he is there already and has over-shield then use your shotgun to quickly dispatch of him, If he has not gotten there yet then take the over-shield. once you have done this grab the sniper, you now have the shotgun and sniper, this means you can take them out at close range as they attack you but you can also take them out at their spawns which will be under gold room, and near the shotgun spawn.
- Watch every way he could get to you, bottom mid, top mid, elbow and man-cannon to S3, this means moving around alot but always keep inside of the sniper tower with your power weapons because this gives you an advantage, The only time you need to move out of the tower is if the invis spawns, because if he gets it he will most likely kill you with it.
Continue to work this strategy for the rest of the game, if you die wait for shotgun and invis to spawn before you make your next move.
Shotgun
- You spawn at the end of shotgun hall and immediately take the shotgun and retrieve invis, then you take the quickest way to sniper to fully utilize the invis and kill him while he has over-shield.
- Proceed to grab the sniper and continue to follow the strategy above, watching all entrances to the tower, and controlling the map.
Elbow
- Player one is to jump down to the hallway leading to mauler whilst player two will take sniper and watch invis, telling player one if anyone has taken it and killing them if they do, but his job right now is to stop them from doing that whilst player one takes the mauler over the man-cannon to invis and once he has that he kills the shotgun player first, then takes the shotgun uses the time left on the invis to quickly dispatch of the last team mate.
- Then the player with the shotgun takes the man-cannon to S3 and sniper goes on top of S3 to watch everything from invis to man-cannon to S3, this way he has a complete view whilst the player with the shotgun watches the elbow, bottom mid, top mid, and man-cannon to S3 and they use this tactic to hold the sniper tower.
Shotgun
- The team spawns at the end of the shotgun hallway and player one grabs the shotgun, then invis and makes the quickest route to sniper and kills the over-shield player first and then using his invis, finishes off the sniper at S3 with the help of player two taking the man-cannon to S3.
- Player two has the sniper and once again goes to S3 and watches everything from invis to man-cannon to S3, and player one with the shotgun watches the elbow, top mid, bottom mid, and man-cannon to S3 and once again they use this strategy to keep the sniper tower for the rest of the game.
